Tom Curren Companies is an established residential general contracting company serving the Greater Boston area for nearly 40 years. We're looking for talented and motivated in-home/outside sales professionals who are passionate about home improvement and eager to grow their income with a highly successful sales team. Our Sales Representatives work in some of Boston's finest neighborhoods, helping homeowners improve their homes through our Design/Build process, selling high-quality remodeling and home improvement services. As a Senior Outside Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for generating and closing sales from both warm and cold leads. You will provide a professional, consultative in-home sales experience, educate homeowners about our Design/Build services, guide them through their project options, and differentiate Tom Curren Companies from other contractors, all while following our proven sales process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations from company-provided and self-generated leads.
  • Measure, quote, and sell home improvement services, including kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling, interior/exterior painting, carpentry, windows, siding, and doors.
  • Follow a structured sales process to identify client needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Use CRM and company tools to track opportunities and manage your pipeline.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the sales cycle and ensure customer satisfaction at each step.
  • Conduct job site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and verify satisfaction post-project completion.
  • Build long-term relationships to generate referrals and repeat business.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings for coaching, training, and mentorship.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and reliability at all times.


Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of demonstrated in-home commissioned sales experience.
  • Proven annual sales volume of $1.25M.
  • Money-motivated with a strong desire to win.
  • Consultative, confident selling style with a natural hustle.
  • Willingness to learn and follow a defined sales process.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, computers, iPads, and smartphones.
  • Resides within 1 hour of the Newton office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong follow-up, time-management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professionalism, dependability, accountability, and punctuality.
  • Coachable, competitive, goal-driven and self-motivated.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred (not required).


Compensation

  • Full-time, W-2 Employment.
  • Compensation goal: ~7% of total sales. Commission is paid monthly on closed and collected projects, with no cap on earnings.
  • Base salary of $50,000. Top producers earn $200,000+ annually (competitive base + commission) within 12 months.
  • One-on-one sales coaching and ongoing professional development.
